Food Safety for Registered
Environmental Health Specialists
is a 24 hour
(2.4 continuing education unit) course
providing education in accordance with
requirements established in section 65807.
The 3 day (24 hour) course is conducted on site
at your facility or at the designated location
on the Monterey Peninsula of California.
The four-hundred page course book has been
carefully structured to provide a continuing
educational foundation for Registered
Environmental Health Specialists. The
course syllabus is consistent with all
principles outlined by the California Department
of Public Health for Registered Environmental
Health Specialists Continuing Education. |

dangers of foodborne illness

for foodborne illness

food safety regulations and
compliance procedures in
association with the
Environmental Health Inspection

apply to commercial foodservice

Understand the microbiology of
food in association with
pathogens responsible for
foodborne illness.

stages and their association
with the critical factors
involving cross contamination,
time-temperature controls,
receiving, storage, preparation,
holding and service.

importance of an integrated pest
management program.

good personal hygiene as a
